Hi guys (if anyone is even reading this),

Itch.io said I should make a devlog so here I am. I released a very early prototype of my open-source animation tool, PUNKimate.

I decided to start working on this because I never see any good free software that's dedicated to animation. The closest you can get is Krita, which wasn't made with animation as the main focus.

Here are some features that I intend to add to this tool:

• Shortcut keys focused on animation (navigating the timeline, etc.)
• Ability to animate layers separately from each other
• Direct export to AVI or MP4 (if possible)

And these are on top of features that any basic drawing and animation tool needs. I have no idea if this project will go far or not, and I'm not set on any outcome. The hope is that eventually contributors on GitHub will help with adding features, but I'll need to make this tool at least somewhat usable first.
